Services > Exotic Pets

Our doctors will see most small mammals, small birds, and occasionally snakes, turtles, or lizards. Veterinary training in exotic animal medicine varies between the various schools of veterinary medicine. If your small mammal, bird, or amphibian has a problem with which our attending veterinarian is not well versed they may refer you to a more specialized service. We carry several specially compounded medications to treat exotic pets. We often care for: rabbits, rats/rodents, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, small birds, chinchillas, turtles, lizards, and sometimes snakes.

If you do not have a regular veterinarian for routine care of your exotic pet we suggest:

Street Road Animal Hospital - (Dr. Esteban Baeza)- 4869 Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053. Phone -(215) 396-4747.
